Enough family and friends have been stopping me recently to ask me what I've been up to. When I let them know, they always say the same thing, "plug me into whatever list you have so I know when you have shows and can try and come see them!" To send out individual emails to everyone whose asked would take up most of my time, and to create and maintain an email list sounds systematically tedious. So I've created a form on my Contact page which will add you to my new Email Newsletter. It's not a weekly or a monthly or anything like that, but when something cool happens that I think people would want to know about, I'll send out an email blast to let you all know! Subscribing is as simple as putting in your name and email address, and then clicking a confirmation email.
Thanks so much for all of your support and I hope this helps me keep in contact with those who are interested!
My best to all,
Hey everyone! This is really just a post to try out the new weebly iPhone app for blog content. If it works well, this could really allow me to post more often and keep my already irrelevant thoughts even less relevant and more self-indulgent! Yay!
Yep, it's a great day in the world of my blog! A truly great day!
Love to everyone!
This post created on Weebly for iPhone
I feel like an honest to god person striving to be a professional actor! Every time I've tried to apply for acting positions outside of the theatre world it's always "let me see your reel". Well there's an easy, inherent, catch-22 with that, how on earth do you get a reel if film work won't look at you?!
Problem solved. Thanks to Ithaca College film directors such as Joe Killeen, Dave Travers, Mark Renaudin, and Cory Tomascoff, I now have an Acting reel live and online. Thanks to directors such as Jack Denny, Charles Miller, Alex Tragellis, and Garrett Kafchinski, I have a Fight Direction reel live and online. As I prepare to graduate, I'm so thankful to these people (and the countless others who have helped me) for helping me take yet one more step forward toward my goal to live as an actor.
Head over to my Videos page to see the videos I speak of, plus an embedded playlist of musical performances I've had recorded.
Well this is very exciting. I have finally created a new, self-promotional website to get ready for my forays into the world of professional acting! I tried to port over my old blog into this one, but unfortunately would have lost the amount of comments I've amassed during my time there, because Wordpress and Weebly don't play nicely together. So I have taken the liberty of starting a new wordpress blog (http://neddonovan.wordpress.com) and all of my old posts are there with their original comments intact and safe. Please feel free to head over there if you're looking for anything. However this new blog will be where I continue to update everyone on what is going on in my life. As this final semester takes off, I'm sure I will have much to share, but for now, welcome to my new site. Please feel free to poke around, and thank you for supporting me in path to becoming an actor! I'm so blessed to know each and everyone of you.
This is the first blog post in what I hope will be many! Thanks for swinging by and come on back over to see more blog posts as well as check out the other features of this site!
Thank you all so much, and my best to everyone this holiday season!
The Irrelevant Musings of an Actor
I find myself hilarious, and I use this blog to stroke my own ego. Thanks for indulging me.
