About
Ned is an actor, singer, and producer based in New York City. Originally from Portland, Maine, he has spent his career building a body of work that spans theatre, television, podcasting, and film.
Ned holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College. He began his professional career on the stage, performing in theatrical productions across the country and becoming a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. As his career developed, he expanded into producing through his production company, Charging Moose Media, which has produced an award-winning slate of web series, albums, music videos, and podcasts. Among those projects was the original podcast that then became Encounter Party, the official Dungeons & Dragons television series. During his time as a partner at Play+1, Ned served as the Executive Producer of the show, produced in partnership with Hasbro Studios and Wizards of the Coast. He is also a member of the cast. The series is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and Roku.
His web series The Hunted: Encore won more than 70 awards at over 50 festivals worldwide and ranked #4 in the US and #27 worldwide in the 2018 Web Series World Cup.
Recognizing the lack of organized recognition in the fiction podcast space, Ned partnered with the New Jersey Web Festival to launch the world's first festival competition for fiction podcasts and actual play content. As the Director of Audio Fiction at NJ WebFest, he has since expanded the program to 15 festivals worldwide and founded the Audio Fiction World Cup, an industry-first circuit of festivals dedicated to these emerging art forms.

Ned is also the founder of Audition Cat, a platform built to give professional auditioning actors the career management tools they actually need.
Outside of entertainment, Ned has worked in tech startups, finance, cryptocurrency, food and dining, real estate, legal administration, graphic and web design, social media management, and at one point held a New York City taxi license. That breadth of experience sharpened his instinct for identifying gaps in markets and building solutions that support his communities and uplift indie artists.
When he is not working, Ned can usually be found spending time with his wife and their German Shepherd/Black Lab pup Buggsy Mogues, gaming at the table, or following his favorite sports teams.
